We are short wlak to cafes, bars and independant shops, with every part of the town easily accessablie. A great location to enjoy weekend breaks, local festivals, and a relaxed Yorkshire stays.
Calderdale Terraces has been part of our family since the 1940s and has been thoughtfully renovated to combine original character with modern comfort.
Set on Sackville Street, one of Hebden Bridge’s traditional terraced streets, the house offers a peaceful retreat while remaining exceptionally close to the town centre.
The house sleeps up to five guests across three comfortable bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: UK King-size bed (2 adults) also has an ensuite shower room
Bedroom 2: UK King-size bed (2 adults)
Bedroom 3: Single bed (1 adult)
All beds are made up with quality linen, and storage is provided in each room.

The living room is warm and welcoming — perfect for unwinding after a day walking the Calder Valley hills or browsing Hebden Bridge’s shops.
The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for self-catering, with a small dining area ideal for shared meals, games, or planning the next day’s adventures
There is also a toilet on the main floor just off the kitchen area.
Zoned central heating keeps the house cosy throughout the year, making it comfortable in all seasons.

After booking all guests are required to furnish photo identification and confirmation of a residential address complete with a mobile telephone number directly to the property owner ( a photo drivers licence meets the requirement).

Hebden Bridge is well known as the filming location for acclaimed TV dramas including Happy Valley, Last Tango in Halifax, and more recently Riot Women, all drawn to the town’s distinctive architecture, dramatic Pennine landscape, and strong sense of place.
The Calder Valley also has a rich literary heritage. Sylvia Plath lived nearby in Heptonstall during the early 1960s, and the surrounding countryside influenced her work. Her grave in the village continues to attract readers from around the world.
